Whether you know it or not, what you’ve been getting, were all you have been expecting – good or bad. You may think, how is this possible?

See, in life what you expect is what you will get; even when you are just thinking about it, you have already got it. What you are expecting directly or indirectly is the child of your mind. You’re believed to always be expecting the fundamental components of your thoughts.

The principle goes hand-in-hand with the power of your thought which says that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. So, do you want to be successful? Think success and expect success! Do not think you may not succeed, once you think that way, you will not succeed.

My motivation for writing this short blog post is to let you know that it’s possible to always get what you expect, even when everything seems not like it. My wife just delivered a beautiful bouncing baby girl this morning. And,  all the situations before the delivery were saying that a successful safe delivery may not be possible. For instance, few weeks before the delivery, the doctors said that her blood level is below 30 percent which makes they said is critical.

But, both of us have always believe God for a safe delivery and that was what we got against all odds. No blood was given to her her blood lever just rose to normal within a week and she delivered successfully .Every other day, try to be filling your mind with what is consistent to what you are believing God for. And do not fear even when it seems that you are not heading to your proposed direction.

God is faithful and His Word can never fail.

First of all, you have to understand what tax and corporate social responsibilities are before you can appreciate what we will be telling you here. The major challenge that may not allow you to fully walk in love is egoism. But, when you understand that your happiness is directly proportional to how you’re able to make others happy; you will discipline yourself to walk in love. Make a choice to live a happy and fulfilled life: This kind of life starts from your making a choice to that effect. You may not even know such a life exist let alone lead it, except you are aware of it and choose to live that way.

Open your heart to wisdom: It takes wisdom to understand life and how to maximize it. Life is complex and it will only take good thinking and sound judgment to make the right decisions. Permit me to recommend a place for practical wisdom that will never fail you. Kindly read all the chapters in the book of Proverbs in the Holy Bible and start applying the principles therein, and you will discover a better way of living.

Let others know who you are: Live a life that all that comes in contact with you will be able to tell the kind of person you are. If others know your dos and don’ts and what you stand for. It will give you a character that will help you influence them positively without resentment and a pattern of life that you will be proud of.

Decide to be kind and humble: You cannot truly be happy in life when you don’t care about other people. It’s when you make other people around you happy that you can truly be happy. Always be on the lookout to improve someone else life and see what they can become and help them in any way you can to make your dream about them become real.

Humility will also bring happiness and fulfillment in your life. Humble people are loved by all and helped to achieve their dreams. But we have to differentiate humility from timidity for they are not the same. Timidity will make you mediocre will humility will make you great.

Be quick to forgive others and to ask for forgiveness: Forgiving others their wrongs put you in advantageous position. Your mind is cleared from setbacks and you will only concentrate on your purpose in life. When you wrong someone else, be wise enough to ask for forgiveness. Asking for forgiveness will not make you any less, but will make you a great person in the long run. And you will discover how a life of no offence can keep you happy and fulfilled for the rest of your life.

The first step towards achieving your purpose is to know your purpose for living. Why were you born? What are you in this life to achieve now you’re here? If you are able to give specific answers to these questions, you’re already through with the first phase of achieving your purpose in life. This is because you are now aware of your mission in life and this awareness will be propelling you towards achieving your purpose. When I say your purpose in life, I’m not talking about the normal life everyone is supposed to live. You purpose in life should not just only be the provision of the basic needs of your family. It should be the rendering of service that will better the lives of people in your sphere of contact, improve the world around you or any other noble course such as these. This is doing something worthwhile that you will be remembered of after your exit here on this earth.

Your purpose in life should not just be mere dreams or wishes. It should be what you totally believe in. People should be able to know what you stand for even if it seems threatening to your life. That’s how big your purpose should be.

Steps on how to achieve all your purpose in life is highlighted below.

Write your purpose down: Your purpose will become clearer to you once it’s written down. Place it where you can see it as well as read it to yourself aloud every day until it enters your sub-conscious mind.

Let people around you know about it: Reveal what you want to achieve in life to people around you, especially those that have the same ideology with you. This will make you go the extra-mile in putting your best in achieving your purpose for living.

Have a plan: Write a feasible plan for achieving your purpose in life. Give yourself targets, and be following your plans on daily basis as well as measuring your actual results with your set targets. And, don’t fail to adjust your plan when necessary.

Be committed: Don’t allow any day pass without doing something that will take you closer to your purpose in life.

Start achieving your purpose: Start achieving the small portions of your purpose, that’s the only way you will make good progress. For instance, if your purpose in life is to take care of the widows globally, you could start from caring for few widows or a widow you know personally. Even if it only helping her clean up her surroundings.

Celebrate your success: Don’t fail to identify when you have made progress along the line and make sure you celebrate it no matter how small. That atmosphere of celebration will spur you for greater achievement.

Don’t allow anything stop you: Don’t allow anything stop you from achieving your purpose in life. Always be creative on how you will go about achieving your purpose even in the midst of all the challenges you will definitely encounter along your way.

If you don’t stop yourself, nothing else will.

Treat your employees as those helping you to fulfill your dream: Your employees are actually helping you fulfill your business idea, though some of them may be unaware of this. So consciously in whatever means you can, encourage them to help you take your business to whatever level you want to see it.

Pay your employees well: As you plan for your business, have it at the back of mind to pay your employees reasonably. If it’s possible for the least paid employee in your company to earn a million dollars, do not hesitate to pay it. Be only concerned about a bottom-line not what you are paying in taxes or wages and salaries. If you are still making reasonable profits after all your expenses, go ahead and make everyone happy.

Share your profit with them: Paying your employees well is not enough if you want see your business grow in a geometric progression. After all the stakeholders have taken what belong to them from your earnings and good amount reserved for the growth of the business, the remaining profit should be shared by your management and all the employees. Profit-sharing motivate employees to seeing that good profits are made in each of the periods as well as put in all their best towards the growth of the business in general.

Know each an everyone one of your employees personally: Your business will tend to do better if you know each an every member of your employees personally. In life generally, people loved being known personally and you know business is just part of life. So, try as much as possible to know the people that work with you personally. Even when your business has become big, try to know those that work closely with your personally and encourage them to do so to their subordinates; and with this arrangement, you can really know everyone personally.

Genuinely care for your employees: Train yourself to be genuinely concerned about the welfare of your employees as well as those of their families. Put up a structure and system that will help monitor the progress of each of your employee family. The system of knowing the progress of each employee’s family maybe on unit, departmental, branch or company basis depending on the growth of your business. No matter how it’s done, let knowing the progress of each employee’s family part of your policy.

Always be concerned about their personal development: Let each member of your employees be trained as often as possible depending on the changes in the industry you are operating in or that in the global economy. Do not think it will be costly to embark on such trainings because it will cost you more in the long run if they are not trained.

Also, give them the freedom of developing themselves. Encourage them to join professional bodies in their different fields of endeavor, if possible pay for their annual dues in those professional organizations.

Teach them how to manage their income: People that are disgruntled will never ever be productive no matter the motivation. The major cause of disgruntlement is the inability of someone to make do with ones income. Organize seminars for your employees at least once every year on personal finance. If you cannot handle it consult those that are experts in personal finance. This will go a long way in ensuring that majority of your employees take charge of their financial lives and this will in turn give a positive boost to your business.

Make them see future in your business: Generally, more people will put in their very best in any project they can visualize their future in than project that presents a bleak future. Make sure you put up structures and systems that will that will ensure continuity in your business. Let your business be a pace where people will happily want to come and work, not a place where those that are there are looking for the slightest opportunity to move away from.

Do not have “sheep and goats” employees in your organization: Do not discriminate between your employees. Let all that work for you be valued for the kind of jobs the perform. Do not for example contract your junior staffs while you employ your senior staffs yourself. Let every member of your staff be treated with respect because they are all human beings and loved to be appreciated no matter their levels. For instance, when a security guard is appreciated; he or she will do his work with enthusiasm. But, when regarded as a nobody; he or she will directly or indirectly undermine the team work of your business. Let everyone count in in your business, for it’s one of the easiest way of excelling in business.

Show them all you expect from them: Let them see a mentor and a motivator in you. Do those things you will always expect them to do. Do not boss yourself around them, but always be as humble as you can afford to be.

They already understand you are the owner of the business, so let not your attitude negatively suggest to them you are the boss. There is nothing that kills business faster than “internal competition”. That is when the majority of the employees in an organization are not happy with the owner or the management of the business and are always expecting the worst to happen to the business not minding they will be equally affected.

First of all, being rich does not only consist in having so much money and other material things. Money and material things are just part of the evidence of being rich. Being rich is a state of mind. For instance, a rich man with only $1,000.00 in his account now will have more money than a poor man with $20,000.00 after a few years. The rich inherently have ways of ‘naturally’ multiplying wealth and this ways can be learned and imbibed by anyone that desires to be rich. It will only take understanding the life styles of the rich, discipline and practicing the life styles of the rich.

Below are the inherent life styles of the rich that keep them getting richer.

1. They are not lack-conscious: The rich are not stingy with their spending. They spend only on their necessaries no matter what they are, without thinking about their money finishing even when the cash available will not be enough to go round those necessaries.

2. They are grateful people: The rich are always grateful to people that extended help to them no matter how small the help may seem. They are quick to say ‘thank you’ to those that assisted them one way or the other.

3. They don’t pretend to be rich: They just live their lives: The rich don’t buy things to impress people or let them think they are rich like the poor do. One of my friends’ dads some time ago bought five pairs of white suites from the same designer because he likes dressing in white. But, one of his daughters was not happy with that idea, basing her argument that her friends will think her father has only one pair of white suit. Her father immediately advised her to quit thinking like a poor person and to stop living her life based on other people’s opinion.

4. They don’t work for money: The rich don’t work for money. They employ money and people to work for them. They invest their money to make more money – that’s money working for them. And they own businesses and have people take care of them. Even when they start as employees, which most at times is the case; they know they’re not working to earn but to learn how to manage businesses.

5. They are givers: The rich are givers. Whether to the charity, the needy, the poor the nations and any good course, they are good at giving their money, time or energy in support. They always think of what to give than what they are to receive. That’s why you see the rich helping people as well as the economies of nations they operate in.

6. They believe in the power of network: They know that no tree can make a forest no matter how big the tree is. That’s why they create good relationships on daily basis and maintain their old relationships. They socialize properly, having at the back of their minds that is good to treat people they meet while going up nicely since they may still meet them on their way coming down.

7. They are good time managers: The rich know how to manage their time proper to achieve greater results. They have specified time for all their activities. This is why their days are filled with ‘booked appointments’.

10. They buy assets to help them buy liabilities: The rich understand the real meaning of assets and liabilities. And, they always buy assets first and use the money made by the assets to buy their liabilities. Assets are things that bring money to you without your laboring for the money. While liabilities are things that take money away from you. For example, your taxi cab that brings income to you on daily basis is an asset. While your private car is a liability.

11. They use debts to make money: This is simple. The rich use credit of kind to buy assets, while the poor use the same sort of credit to buy liabilities. And, that’s the big difference between the two.

12. They go for quality things: The rich go for quality things no matter the cost to be expended on them. Quality things in the short run may seem expensive, but in the long run the expenses on quality things will be justified.

13. They know how to relax and enjoy their money: They take periodic vacations to unwind and refresh so as to draw strength to move on.
